The Inaugural HKUST IC Design Center (ICDC) Symposium titled "Energy-Efficient ICs for AI-Driven Applications" was successfully held on Jun 14, 2018.
The Director of ICDC, Prof. Philip K. T. Mok, addressed the opening remarks and the Dean of Engineering, Prof. Tim Kwang Ting Cheng, addressed the welcome remarks to the audience.
In the morning, distinguished speakers from the IEEE SSCS and CAS Societies Prof. Meng-Fan (Marvin) Chang from NTHU, Prof. Vivienne Sze from MIT, Prof. Hao Yu from SUSTC and Prof. Elvis (Pui-In) Mak from UMAC gave talks on the symposium. In the afternoon Prof. Luca Daniel from MIT, and Prof. Howard Luong, Prof. Wing-Hung Ki and Prof. Jiang Xu from HKUST talked about their research results.
Finally the invited speakers and audience took a visit to the ICDC laboratory for research project demonstration. The symposium was successfully concluded after the visit.
